ANTHROPIC said on Oct. 9 that its Claude Haiku 4.5 model accessed the police page and filled the tip form, claiming it "may have information related to the case" but providing no name or contact. The submission was flagged as spam and did not prompt an investigation. Philadelphia police said they were unaware of the incident until notified by ANTHROPIC and called it "unacceptable," urging tech firms to take all necessary steps to prevent their systems from submitting false information to law enforcement.

On Oct 10, Israel’s Channel 13 reported that US President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have held frequent, urgent communications about possible renewed US‑Israel strikes on Iran, citing multiple senior Israeli security officials. The officials said no final decision has been made and Netanyahu does not intend to take military action before Israel’s parliamentary election at the end of the month.
