The company says the material markedly lowers initial electrolyte installation cost and widens system operating temperature range, offering cost and efficiency gains that establish a core technology barrier for its energy-storage business. Separately, Singapore firm Vnergy and a Southwest Chinese chemical group have moved a joint project into the approval stage and are seeking product certification with Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).
