After quarterly results met expectations, China Merchants Securities International cut Tesla's 2026–2028 attributable net profit forecasts by 41%, 44% and 53%, citing higher R&D and S&M expense ratios and a slower Cybercab ramp. The firm remains constructive on long-term FSD, Robotaxi and Optimus upside but says near-term higher R&D and capex will delay scaled profitability.

Yemen government forces said they carried out 1,276 strikes across multiple fronts in the past 24 hours against Houthi forces, targeting command centers, defensive positions, firebases, reinforcements, transport and supply facilities, and weapons and ammunition depots. The operations reportedly rendered about 382 Houthi commanders and personnel combat-ineffective, destroyed or disabled 140 vehicles and heavy weapons, and destroyed several ammunition depots.
