The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that earlier today, IDF forces launched an attack in the Gaza City area targeting a member of the Hamas military. After discovering unrelated civilians in the area, the IDF adjusted the direction of its ammunition to minimize civilian casualties. An investigation into the incident is underway. Units under the IDF Southern Command remain deployed in the area as agreed and will continue to take action to eliminate any threats.
