ZDNet Korea reported that Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have scheduled mass production and shipments of 8-layer HBM4 for NVIDIA around Q2 next year. An industry source said NVIDIA plans to outfit Rubin Ultra NVL rack-scale systems with 8-layer HBM4; while 12-layer HBM4 remains the priority this year, the source expects the share of 8-layer HBM4 to rise sharply from mid-next year.

At its 2026 Q3 results briefing, Northern Rare Earth said the current praseodymium-neodymium (Pr-Nd) product supply-demand structure points to Q4 product prices being mainly stable and gross margins broadly improving; the company said final outcomes will depend on actual Q4 supply-demand. It said purchases of rare-earth concentrates are guided by total rare-earth control quotas, production plans and market demand.
