Russia and Ukraine agreed a temporary ceasefire in Aleshki, Kherson region,
effective 04:00 Moscow time/03:00 Kyiv time on Oct. 27 (09:00 Beijing time), to
open a humanitarian corridor for aid deliveries and civilian evacuations.
Kremlin spokesman Peskov said on Oct. 26 the Aleshki pause could set a
precedent, but warned that resuming Russia–US–Ukraine trilateral talks expected
in November does not constrain Russian forces, which will continue to strike
Ukrainian targets.
