RIA reported that Putin, Norway’s prime minister and Finland’s president discussed a ceasefire in Oleshky.

Russia and Ukraine agreed a temporary ceasefire in Aleshki, Kherson region, effective 04:00 Moscow time/03:00 Kyiv time on Oct. 27 (09:00 Beijing time), to open a humanitarian corridor for aid deliveries and civilian evacuations. Kremlin spokesman Peskov said on Oct. 26 the Aleshki pause could set a precedent, but warned that resuming Russia–US–Ukraine trilateral talks expected in November does not constrain Russian forces, which will continue to strike Ukrainian targets.

Qatar foreign ministry spokesman said the Middle East needs a new regional security framework that respects states' sovereignty.
