Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC) and AI firm G42 on Monday signed an agreement with OpenAI to integrate advanced AI across their operations. The signing coincided with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's visit to Abu Dhabi, where he met Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan and attended ADIPEC. ExxonMobil (XOM.N) and Chevron (CVX.N) last week canceled planned executive travel to the UAE citing security concerns.

BOE Technology said in investor-relations notes that a major smartphone customer will launch a foldable this year, a move expected to lift global foldable-phone shipments. BOE has begun mass production and shipments of a mirror-effect “seamless” panel to some domestic customers and reports deep partnerships with domestic and international brands, with several product and technology firsts across form factors. Citing consultancy data, the company noted rising memory prices are prompting brands to allocate scarce storage to higher-end models, making foldables a key beneficiary and supporting rapid segment growth—conditions BOE says leave it well positioned to benefit.
