Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC) and AI firm G42 signed an agreement on Monday with OpenAI to integrate advanced AI across their operations. The signing coincided with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's visit to Abu Dhabi, where he met Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan and attended ADIPEC. ExxonMobil (XOM.N) and Chevron (CVX.N) last week canceled planned executive travel to the UAE citing security concerns.
