Democratic candidate Bob Brooks defeated incumbent Republican U.S.
Representative Ryan McKenzie to flip a House seat in Pennsylvania. Brooks, a
local firefighters' union chair, won in a district Trump carried by about 3
percentage points in the 2024 presidential election. Nationwide Democrats need a
net gain of four seats to win control of the U.S. House.
