NEA deputy director Ge Ju said authorities will tap load flexibility from electric vehicles and air conditioners, roll out smart orderly charging and scale vehicle-to-grid (V2G) applications to expand virtual power plant (VPP) deployment, targeting at least 50 GW of VPP regulation capacity by 2030 and greater end-user participation in system balancing.
