SK海力士正考虑将之前完全委托给台积电的基础芯片生产，部分外包给英特尔代工，以丰富供应商体系： 1、从HBM4E开始，该公司将引入英特尔代工部分HBM基础裸片，与台积电形成双供应商体系，以降低对台积电的依赖，并增强成本与价格谈判能力。 2、HBM基础裸片就是最底层的“总控芯片”，负责管理上层内存，并高速连接GPU/CPU。 3、业内估算，HBM4基础裸片成本约为上层DRAM核心裸片的3—4倍，HBM4E成本或进一步上升；同时HBM大量采用长期供货协议，代工成本上涨难以及时向客户转嫁。 4、若英特尔加入供应链，SK海力士可同时提升成本竞争力和供应稳定性。随着HBM4进入“定制HBM”时代，基础裸片需针对不同AI加速器定制，供应链多元化的重要性进一步上升。双方合作未来还可能延伸至先进封装，SK海力士已在评估台积电CoWoS与英特尔EMIB方案。
