Worsening U.S.-Israel-Iran tensions, repeated attacks on energy facilities, and a near-closed Strait of Hormuz have prompted the bank to raise quarterly Brent forecasts from 2Q 2026 through 1Q 2027, with 2Q now seen at $110 a barrel versus a prior $90 estimate.
