China National Nuclear Corporation said the second unit at the SuperCarbon‑1
supercritical CO2 (sCO2) waste‑heat power project in Liupanshui, Guizhou, has
been grid‑connected. The achievement completes the world's first demonstration
project for sCO2 waste‑heat power generation. Once both units are in service,
SuperCarbon‑1 will deliver 30 MW of stable installed capacity.
