The weather bureau forecasts heavy to torrential rain in parts of Jiangxi, Hunan and Guizhou, with isolated very heavy downpours. On June 1, Wang Lei, deputy party secretary and director of the Beijing Economic‑Technological Development Area management committee, chaired a meeting with space‑computing companies to solicit industry input and plan and advance construction of a Space Computing Innovation Center in Yizhuang. Attending executives said space computing — the convergence of commercial aerospace and the digital economy — is a new global technology frontier with significant strategic value and commercial potential.
