The Israel Defense Forces said a nighttime airstrike in southern Gaza on June 6 killed a Hamas military commander. The IDF said the commander had planned multiple recent attacks on Israeli forces and posed a direct threat to IDF deployments. Hamas did not immediately respond.

Counties must produce action plans; functional departments must enforce the directives at every enterprise and require firms to issue work plans and fulfill tasks. City and county authorities will jointly intensify supervision of checklist and meeting compliance, and use the provincial coal-mine safety risk rectification campaign to resolutely crack down on illegal operators and to investigate and punish dereliction of duty, including public officials who act as “protective umbrellas.”
