A legal delegation from the Trump administration has arrived in Israel and is due to meet Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Katz and Foreign Minister Sa'ar.

On the 7th Ukrainian President Zelenskiy proposed an immediate ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia that would freeze current frontline positions, to be followed by negotiations to resolve the dispute. He said the pause would be the quickest way to halt fighting and protect lives, but does not imply Ukraine forfeits territorial sovereignty. Zelenskiy demanded the ceasefire be comprehensive and monitorable, with US and European participation to establish international oversight, and said diplomatic negotiations should begin immediately after the ceasefire as an interim step toward a durable settlement.
