Shanghai Composite rose 1.12% at close, Shenzhen Composite gained 0.75% and the
ChiNext Index was up 0.50% after opening the session higher; ChiNext initially
climbed over 2% before retreating intraday. Commercial aerospace names posted
multiple limit-ups, including Chenxi Aviation, AVIC Gaoke, AVIC Xifei, Aero
Engine Technology and Zhongtian Rocket. Industrial metals saw a wave of
limit-ups (about 10 stocks), led by Tongling Nonferrous and China Molybdenum.
Broker dealers strengthened with Caida Securities and BOC Securities hitting
daily limits. Outperforming sectors included insurance, nonferrous metals, gold,
AI-driven pharmaceuticals, lithium, retail and paper; laggards included MLCC,
helium, industrial gases, advanced packaging, CPO, photoresist and optical-fiber
themes. Combined turnover on Shanghai and Shenzhen totaled 3.21 trillion yuan,
about 662.9 billion yuan higher than the previous session. Approximately 3,900
stocks rose and 1,500 fell.
