Wang cited Xi’s 2019 state visit that upgraded China–Nepal ties to a strategic cooperative partnership focused on development, and said China will work with Nepal under bilateral leadership to maintain high-level exchanges, deepen political trust and pragmatic cooperation to advance ties and benefit both countries’ peoples; the CPPCC said it stands ready to support this. The Nepalese minister reaffirmed Nepal’s adherence to the One China principle, pledged not to allow Nepali territory to be used for anti‑China activities, and expressed interest in expanding cooperation.
