The 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee will meet in Beijing June 23-26. The committee will review State Council-submitted drafts including amendments to the People's Bank of China Law, a proposed Financial Law, revisions to the Tendering and Bidding Law, and a draft decision to authorize the Hong Kong SAR to exercise jurisdiction over the mainland port area at Huanggang and related extension zones.

Guangzhou meteorological bureau reported that at about 15:30 on June 15 Yuexiu and Tianhe districts recorded roughly 40mm of heavy rainfall. Thunderstorm clusters are expected to persist for the next two hours, with total accumulation of 50–80mm. From 15:38 heavy-rain orange warnings are in effect for Yuexiu and Tianhe. Orange warnings also cover Huangpu, Panyu, Haizhu, Liwan, Nansha and Zengcheng districts; Shitan town in Zengcheng is under a red heavy-rain warning.

MiniMax’s new large model M3 has fully integrated Alipay TokenPay, allowing users paying with Alipay AI Pay to complete in-app checkout by voice via MiniMax Agent’s Mix Claw service. MiniMax says it is among the first global model vendors to embed TokenPay into its core subscription system. The move marks the first scaled deployment in China of an Alipay-issued MaaS (model-as-a-service) payment solution. MiniMax also plans to roll out full integration with Alipay’s full-stack AI payment products shortly.
