The 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee will meet in Beijing June
23-26. The committee will review State Council-submitted drafts including
amendments to the People's Bank of China Law, a proposed Financial Law,
revisions to the Tendering and Bidding Law, and a draft decision to authorize
the Hong Kong SAR to exercise jurisdiction over the mainland port area at
Huanggang and related extension zones.
