Maritime intelligence firm Tanker Tracker said early on June 17 that satellite
imagery on June 15 verified at least two National Iranian Tanker Company very
large crude carriers had exited a US Navy blockade line carrying about 3.8 mln
barrels of Iranian crude — Iran’s first crude exports in nearly two months. The
firm added NITC’s tanker Strim was leaving Pakistan’s exclusive economic zone
after being held there for seven weeks awaiting return to an Iranian port.
