June 18 — CHINA STATE PLANNER said it will issue and implement a 15th Five-Year
special plan for the modern logistics sector. The plan will coordinate funding
channels, support quality upgrades of existing logistics facilities and new
construction, and develop a networked logistics infrastructure to better align
facilities with industrial needs. It aims to densify urban-rural last‑mile
networks and accelerate deployment of digitalized and green logistics facilities
and equipment. The plan seeks to fill network gaps, improve connectivity and
capacity, and shift logistics from basic availability to higher-quality,
smoother operations. Target: by 2030 establish a logistics network with hubs
closely coordinated with industry and consumption, corridors and networks
connected internally and externally, green and intelligent facilities and
equipment, and cross‑region rules and information interoperability to better
serve high-quality real-economy development.
