China will place 10 U.S. military-related entities, including Aveox, Inc., on its export-control list, banning exports of dual-use items to those firms. MOFCOM cited the Export Control Law and the Dual-Use Items Export Control Regulations, said the step is to protect national security and meet non-proliferation obligations, and framed it as a response to the U.S. expansion of its 'China military companies' list. Chinese exporters are prohibited from supplying the named entities.

China's 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee will hold its 23rd meeting in Beijing from June 23-26, the NPCSC Legislative Affairs Commission said. Following a chairman's meeting, the agenda includes continued review of draft amendments to the Trademark Law, Certified Public Accountants Law, procuratorate public-interest litigation law, Antarctic activities and environmental protection law, and the national fire and rescue personnel law; the NPC Financial and Economic Committee will submit a proposal to review amendments to the Government Procurement Law; the State Council will submit drafts for review including amendments to the Tendering and Bidding Law, a draft Financial Law, and proposed revisions to the PBOC law.

CSC Financial said Zhipu AI has released next-generation large model GLM-5.2, marking a new phase in which China’s models reach top-tier global capability and can exert pricing power. Benchmarking firm Artificial Analysis ranks GLM-5.2 fourth globally. CSC said rapid domestic model development implies strong onshore compute demand and reiterated a positive view on China large-model and compute-related sectors.
