President Trump said on social media he will not sign a bipartisan housing bill on Wednesday at Capitol Hill as planned, and has canceled today’s signing and press conference, saying he wants Congress to first pass the Save America Act. Trump called the measure a national emergency and is pushing the Senate to repeal the filibuster to pass the Save America Act, which would introduce new voter ID requirements; Democrats say the current text would amount to voter suppression.
