With new AI chip platforms from NVIDIA, Google and AMD entering mass production in Q3 2026, capacity is expected to be increasingly absorbed by AI orders; combined with forward stocking, TrendForce flags longer lead times and upward pressure on high-end MLCC prices in H2. It says Q4 2026 will be the key period to determine whether high-end MLCCs move into sustained shortage.

Prime Minister NETANYAHU’s cabinet voted unanimously to refuse recognition of any decisions by the Second Authority for Television and Radio, the regulator for commercial broadcasting, directly contravening a Supreme Court order that the authority continue operating despite falling below its statutory quorum after a wave of resignations. The court said the resignations may have been orchestrated by the communications minister’s office. This is the first time the Israeli government has formally announced it will not comply with a Supreme Court ruling.
