On July 12 local time a US official denied Iranian claims that US facilities at
a Jordanian base were hit, saying there were no US casualties, the vast majority
of missiles and drones fired by Iran were intercepted or shot down, and there
are no reports of significant damage to US facilities. Earlier, Iran’s Islamic
Revolutionary Guard Corps said its strike on the Prince Hassan Airbase in Jordan
destroyed the base’s command-and-control center and an MQ-9 drone hangar.
