Korean outlet DealSite, citing semiconductor industry sources, reports Samsung Electronics has not received NVIDIA mass-production orders for HBM4; its revenue from NVIDIA is limited to paid test samples. Rival SK Hynix has started mass shipments of 12-layer HBM4 to NVIDIA and is entering a capacity ramp. SK Hynix plans to expand HBM4 shipments from September to meet NVIDIA’s high-end compute chip demand.
