Offshore Oil Engineering Co. (Haiyou Engineering) said China-developed Qinghai-series jacket auxiliary devices were used in the offshore installation of the jacket for the new wellhead platform at the Dongfang 1-1 gas field. Zimbabwe Mines Minister Kambamura said the government has rejected the lithium industry's request to postpone a lithium concentrate export ban set to take effect on January 1 until at least March, and that the January 1 timetable remains. Harsh measures were first introduced in February to force more domestic value-added processing and curb illegal exports of metallic lithium for EV batteries; export restrictions were partly eased in April, but the ban is planned for formal implementation in early 2027. The Zimbabwe Lithium Producers Association had sought a multi-month grace period; Kambamura said producers were notified as early as June 2025 and must comply with the policy.

On the 18th the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it struck multiple US military targets in Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan in response to a US strike on the 17th. The IRGC said drones and missiles hit a fuel resupply pier for the US fleet at Ahmadi Port in Kuwait, struck an aircraft staging area at Sheikh Isa and a data centre in Bahrain, and destroyed a signal communications centre in Kuwait. In a separate statement the IRGC said missile and drone strikes on Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti (Azraq) air base destroyed at least two fighter aircraft and three other aircraft and severely damaged several more.
