Index +0.44%, ChiNext +0.25%. Market turnover across Shanghai and Shenzhen was
2.19 tln yuan, down about 458 bln yuan vs. the prior session. Power names led
gains—UHV, grid equipment, green power and smart grid concepts outperformed;
multiple issuers, including Yikun Electric, Zhongneng Electric and Heshun
Electric, hit daily limits and more than 30 stocks in the sector reached
limit-up. Energy metals also rose, with Shengxin Lithium Energy and Yongshan
Lithium both at limit-up. Military stocks rallied in the afternoon; Beifang
Changlong hit a limit-up. Other outperformers included batteries, chemicals,
sports, building materials & cement, offshore engineering equipment,
agriculture/planting and rail-transit equipment. Lagging sectors included
semiconductors, weight-loss drugs, advanced packaging, AI phones, CPO, IPv6 and
glass substrate stocks. Advance-decline breadth was positive with roughly 4,200
stocks up and 1,200 down.
