China reached key consensus with eight ASEAN countries on building bilateral "communities of shared destiny," strengthening the basis for closer China‑ASEAN integration. Beijing provided immediate disaster relief after earthquakes in Myanmar and the Philippines’ Mindanao, underscoring operational cooperation with ASEAN partners.
