PBOC Shenzhen branch and SAFE Shenzhen bureau said at a 1H 2026 briefing that Shenzhen’s cross-border yuan settlement reached 3.8 tln yuan in 1H, up 37.9% YoY and ranking third nationally. Cross-border yuan receipts and payments under goods trade totaled 836.4 bln yuan in 1H, up 50.2% YoY and accounting for 31% of total receipts/payments, roughly a 5 percentage-point rise YoY. Authorities said broader yuan settlement use helps foreign-trade firms reduce FX exposure, lower settlement costs and improve transaction efficiency.

Iran's roads minister Farzaneh Sadegh held talks in Turkmenistan with the Turkmen president and the country's transport and foreign ministers to strengthen transport fleets and infrastructure and to expand cooperation in natural gas and electricity.
