Korea Exchange data show a sharp KOSDAQ rally activated the buy-side sidecar, temporarily suspending buy-quote validity in programmatic trading for five minutes around 10:28:08 a.m. KST (09:28 Beijing). At trigger, KOSDAQ 150 futures were up 75.80 points (+6.41%) and the KOSDAQ 150 index was up 38.12 points (+3.13%). The sidecar was lifted at 10:37 a.m. KST (09:37 Beijing), with the KOSDAQ at 743.92, up 3.36% (24.16 points). By contrast, the KOSPI was down sharply, -5.03% (-331.51 points) at 6,263.94.

China A-shares closed lower after a low-range session. Shanghai Composite fell 0.59%, Shenzhen Component down 0.96% and the ChiNext index off 1.24%. Power-grid equipment stocks outperformed, with several names hitting limit up including Jiusheng Electric, Baili Electric and Changcheng Electric; Zhongchao Holdings, Kaifa Electric and Xinte Electric also gained. Photovoltaic equipment stocks climbed, led by Fulate, Guosheng Technology and Tongwei. Paper producers strengthened in the afternoon; Yibin Paper and Kaien hit limit up, while Qingshan Paper, Hengda New Materials and Wuzhou Special Paper advanced. Semiconductor and memory-chip sectors sharply reversed, with GigaDevice and Xiandao Jidian hitting limit down; Zhongke Feice, Changchuan Technology and Tuojing Technology posted large declines. Electronic-chemicals names were weak—Honghe Technology hit limit down, and Sanfu Xinke, Dinglong and Anji Technology fell.
