July 30 — The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Department of Electronic Information convened a photovoltaic (PV) industry meeting to answer queries on three newly issued mandatory national standards: Safety Requirements for PV Modules; Nameplate Marking Requirements for PV Modules; and Energy-efficiency Limit Values and Grades for Crystalline Silicon PV Modules and Inverters. PV manufacturers, testing bodies, standards organizations and metrology institutes were invited to discuss clause interpretation, harmonized testing methods and metrology traceability. Standards drafting experts answered firms’ key technical and implementation questions to help market participants accurately interpret core requirements and ensure correct on‑the‑ground execution of the standards.
