Hong Kong stocks opened lower: the Hang Seng Index fell 0.96% and the Hang Seng Tech Index was down 0.99%. Semiconductor names led losses — 03986.HK fell more than 5%, 01347.HK fell over 3% and 00981.HK fell more than 2%.
