Baihaitun is moving westward at 20–25 km/h with little change in intensity forecast and is expected to make landfall along the coast between Zhoushan (Zhejiang) and Fuding (Fujian) between the evening of the 9th and early hours of the 10th, with landfall winds of 38–45 m/s (13–14); the storm should move west‑northwest inland and gradually weaken after landfall.
