TrendForce data showed on Aug 14 the spot average price for DDR5 16Gb (2Gx8) 4800/5600 was unchanged vs the previous day; DDR4 16Gb (2Gx8) 3200 spot average rose 0.56 pct; DDR4 8Gb (1Gx8) 3200 spot average rose 0.25 pct.

On Aug 14 the Baltic Dry Index (BDI) halted a four-day losing streak, closing up 19 points (+0.7%) at 2,863 but down 7.3% on the week. The Capesize index (BCI) rose 69 points (+1.5%) to 4,538 but fell 11.5% week-on-week; Capesize average daily earnings increased $627 to $37,652. The Panamax index (BPI) dropped 34 points (-1.5%) to 2,228, down 3% for the week; Panamax daily earnings fell $306 to $20,055.
