Turkey’s justice minister Akin Gurluk said on social media that Ankara has
applied to Interpol for red notices for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and
Afek Moscovich over the Gaza-bound “Global Freedom Fleet” incident. Arrest
warrants issued July 14 cite charges including alleged genocide; the interior
ministry has been asked to initiate international arrest procedures. The two
also face charges including crimes against humanity, torture, intentional
injury, deprivation of liberty, property damage, aggravated robbery and
hijacking of a vessel. No further information on Moscovich was released.
