Turkey’s justice minister Akin Gurluk said on social media that Ankara has applied to Interpol for red notices for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Afek Moscovich over the Gaza-bound “Global Freedom Fleet” incident. Arrest warrants issued July 14 cite charges including alleged genocide; the interior ministry has been asked to initiate international arrest procedures. The two also face charges including crimes against humanity, torture, intentional injury, deprivation of liberty, property damage, aggravated robbery and hijacking of a vessel. No further information on Moscovich was released.
