People familiar with the matter said NVIDIA is in preliminary talks with South Korean AI chip designer Rebellion on possible technology cooperation, an equity investment or an acquisition. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang met this week at Rebellion’s U.S. headquarters in Santa Clara with Rebellion co‑founder and CEO Sunghyun Park to discuss potential cooperation. NVIDIA has been broadening its investment activity to shore up its AI-era position, and Huang has led a series of large-scale investments in startups.
