On the morning of Aug. 26, the Yichun Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau said it has withdrawn the proposed-acceptance public notice for the environmental impact report submitted by Yichun Shidai New Energy Mining Co. for the Jianxiawo lithium mine in Yifeng County, Jiangxi. The bureau said members of the public raised doubts about the developer’s earlier disclosure website during the notice period; the notice will be reissued only after subsequent approval meets requirements.

At the morning open, most-active domestic futures were mostly lower: fuel oil down about 7%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) down >6%, Shanghai crude (SC), ethylene glycol (EG) and synthetic rubber down >5%, container-shipping Europe-route contracts down nearly 5%, benzene down >3% and polypropylene down ~3%. Winners: rapeseed meal and stainless steel (SS) up >1%, SHFE zinc up nearly 1%.

The State Administration for Market Regulation has approved and issued a national standard titled Basic Requirements for Socialized Medical Accompaniment Services to tackle blurred service boundaries and uneven quality in accompaniment offerings. The standard establishes a service framework covering providers, service supplies, platforms, personnel, service scope and content, operational processes, and service evaluation and improvement.
