Qatar's prime minister and foreign minister met Iran's parliament speaker Ghalibaf in Tehran today. They discussed regional developments and efforts to ease tensions and create conditions to resume dialogue. Qatar's PM said it is necessary to restart the diplomatic process and described dialogue as the best way to resolve differences and avoid further escalation.

Night session opened: China's main domestic futures were mostly higher. Low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and SC crude rose over 2%; synthetic rubber, coke, propylene, fuel oil and coking coal gained more than 1%; soybean meal was up nearly 1%. Shanghai zinc and stainless steel (SS) eased slightly.

SK Hynix is exploring closer cooperation with Japanese flash-memory maker Kioxia, the company CEO said, but there are no concrete plans for its indirectly held Kioxia stake. SK Hynix holds a significant indirect stake via a Bain Capital vehicle; under a prior agreement its voting rights are capped at 15% without Kioxia consent until 2028. The CEO gave no details on any planned expansion of US investment. SK Hynix is still evaluating a possible IPO for its US NAND unit Solidigm; Korean media reported Solidigm is seeking 50–100 trillion won in pre-IPO financing, but SK Hynix said no decision has been made.
