Indonesia's finance minister said sovereign wealth fund Danantara will transfer IDR 120 tln of profits to the government in 2026 as a reserve fund, to be recorded as non-tax revenue; the proceeds will keep the budget deficit at the current 2.85% of GDP.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said on the 28th that total mobile phone subscribers stood at 1.847 bln at end-July, of which 1.303 bln were 5G users, or 70.5% of the mobile base. As of end-July, 5G base stations totaled 5.154 mln, a net increase of 316k since the end of last year.
