Beijing resale online contract signings in August totaled 13,853 units, down 184 from July's 14,037. Through the first eight months, Beijing resale transactions exceeded 120,000 units, up about 6% YoY. Nationally, resale volumes in major cities fell MoM but continued to rise YoY; the 100-city average resale price was 12,527 yuan/sq m, down 0.45% MoM, with the decline widening 0.01 ppt from the prior month.

Optical-communications names spiked then pulled back; Xizhi Technology-P (01879.HK) rose over 8% intraday. New-energy vehicle makers, battery suppliers, ports and copper miners were active. PCB-related stocks fell, Dazu CNC (03200.HK) -7%, Kingboard Laminates (01888.HK) -5%. Property names extended losses, Yuexiu Property (00123.HK) -7%. Robotics, OLED, marquee internet names, AI application and chip sectors were among the weakest. Nio (09866.HK) -6%. New listing Xiyin-W (00625.HK) closed down 0.12% on debut.
