Hangzhou's draft 15th Five-Year financial development plan seeks designation as a pilot city for AI application in the financial industry and aims to accelerate AI commercialization in finance. The plan promotes fintech clustering, encourages financial institutions and major tech firms to establish fintech R&D centers and innovation platforms in the city, and calls for a digital public-service platform for the securities and futures sector.
