Tehran Stock Exchange main index gained 120,000 points to 6,624,000; the value-weighted index rose about 32,000 points. Total market capitalization in rials reached roughly 19.3 tln Iranian rials for the first time, while dollar-denominated market cap slipped below $100bn. Retail flows into equities, rights issues and equity funds totaled about 1 tln rials, while fixed-income funds saw outflows of 2.2 tln rials. About 95% of stocks advanced and buy orders amounted to 16.5 tln rials.

Korea Customs Service said on Saturday year-to-date South Korean exports reached $709.4 bln, exceeding last year’s full-year record of $709.3 bln as a global surge in demand for AI chips lifted shipments. Customs said South Korea, Asia’s fourth-largest economy, is on track for $1 tln in annual exports, which would make it the fourth country after the US, China and Germany to hit that milestone. August exports rose 69% YoY, marking the 15th consecutive month of growth.
