Kioxia Holdings Corp is weighing a US listing via American depositary receipts (ADR) to raise at least $10bn, people familiar with the matter said. Tempus founder and CEO Eric Lefkofsky told media on Monday he supports Anthropic’s call to slow AI development, saying current models’ ability to self-train and self-improve makes it plausible a system could “get out of control.” He cited safety and capital-efficiency reasons, praised Anthropic, OpenAI and SpaceX for their healthcare work, and downplayed concerns that the U.S. would fall behind if major firms cut investment.
