The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and China State Planner
issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for Electronic Information Manufacturing,
directing scaled deployment of the BeiDou system from industry-specific use to
mass, nationwide adoption. The plan backs R&D in BeiDou chips, algorithms,
anti‑jamming and satellite‑ground integration to address core supply‑chain
bottlenecks and build an end‑to‑end tech supply chain; advances PNT system
integration of BeiDou, satellite internet and space remote sensing; targets
full‑industry linkage across chips, antennas, terminals, systems and services;
and calls for forward deployment of satellite internet to expand
direct‑to‑satellite terminal use cases and strengthen the terminal industry
ecosystem.
