Market reports on Sept. 22 said Mifeng Technology, an embodied-intelligence data
firm, has a latest valuation approaching 10 billion yuan; the company declined
to comment. Public information shows the firm will launch a crowdsourced
data-collection platform, Mifeng Pai, on Sept. 23. Users will accept tasks and
wear the MEgo device to record operations in retail, warehousing, manufacturing
and home settings and are paid based on validated data duration. In a one-month
internal trial Mifeng Pai registered 20,000 users and submitted 13,000 data
packages.
