The Information reports DeepMind head Demis Kavukcuoglu said on Wednesday Google
will release its next flagship model, Gemini 4. The model is in an early
post‑training (fine‑tuning) stage of development. After falling behind Anthropic
and OpenAI in the AI model race, Google says it plans to publish an early
post‑training result as soon as possible and hopes to release the model well
before year‑end, then continue rapid iterative updates.
